Today we commissioned Paul and the ministry of Harvest York Region. The turnout was SUPER encouraging. Lots of people, but more importantly, lots of people wanting to be there. I am finding that leading the people is becoming less of a task and more of a blessing. As the congregation gets to know the songs (see HERE and HERE for more info on that) they are much more responsive, and much more willing to engage in the time of praise.

I auditioned another team member today. It is a very interesting time in the life of the Worship Team. Slowly but surely we are building a strong team. It is my prayer that the Lord continues to be faithful in providing musicians that FIRST love God and SECOND love music.

P.S. My grandparents (or Nana & Papa) were at the service today. My Nana told me she reads my blog. And she wanted to comment but couldn't figure out how to. Not only is it sweet that my grandparents read my blog, it's sweeter that they would want to leave me a message. Nana, click HERE for instructions. I love you.

Hey,
Looks like an awesome service! Thanks for posting it, and thanks for putting your link over at Sunday Setlists ... I noticed you didn't put the linkback in your post, though - do you mind editing it? (See rule #2, haha)

For the Kingdom,

"I Stand Amazed" is powerful stuff.

Fortunately, I never shared the story of the song with our church. The fraud story broke the day after we first did it. I had shared it with my team and let them know what happened. They handled it very maturely. So, as far as the church, it really hasn't affected them, because they don't know. They just know that God is our Healer and portion, which is the whole point anyway. Thanks dropping by.
