Weekend Review

Today I was SI-ICK! I got back from our caribean cruise yesterday around 8pm and went straight to bed (praying that I would feel better)...but NO, it was worse.

6am came, it was pitch black and I was in rough shape. 2 Corinthians 12:9 popped into my head "I'm glad to boast about my weakness so that the power of Christ may shine through me..." So I said;

"God, I believe that to be true, and I want to live it today. I'm pretty weak right now, so it's your time to shine!"

I don't know much, but I do know that God is faithful! Pre-service practice was tough, but I got through it, but with buckley's day-time in hand, I literally clung to that verse and prayed that God would use me in spite of what my body was shelling out.

So what happened...

It was a baptismal service and we had the largest turnout to date.

After the service, Pastor Paul called for a response, and 15+ people came forward and 1 guy gave his life to the Lord.

When I am weak...HE is strong.
Praise the Lord.

Matt,
It's awesome to know that when we are weak He is always strong! I'm glad you were able to make it through and bring Him glory even though you felt so badly. Sounds like you had a great service with great response from the people! Hope you feel better soon.
